The Portfolio Paper
The portfolio paper covers the array of topics discussed and presented in the course, and is due Saturday of Unit 8. The paper will be evaluated using the Unit Assignments and Portfolio Paper rubric (Appendix A). For your paper, you will need to select a company and research the company by using a variety of resources (website, annual report, etc.) to conduct a SWOT analysis, to review any compliancy/ethical issues and the companys social responsibility, to breakdown the companys products/services into a BCG Matrix, to determine the organizational structure of the company, and to develop a balanced scorecard for the company.
Prepare the portfolio paper using the following guidelines:
? A minimum of 5 pages not to exceed 10, typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman font, using APA standard
? Title page, including title of paper, your name, course name and course number, date of submission (Page 1)
? A minimum of 7 pages including a summary of your understanding of the biblical implications for the topic.
? Environmental Analysis (SWOT) Also include information regarding the companys general and specific environments and the organizations culture
? Ethics and Social Responsibility Has the company had compliancy issues? Is the company an ethical company, meaning have they had issues where they have broken laws or exhibited any type of unethical behavior? Also, what ways is the company being socially responsible?
