Objective:

-Your goal is to conduct an analysis of how your novel and how popular culture functions within inter sectional representations of gender, sexuality, and race– DO NOT SUMMARIZE THE PLOT
-in order to conduct an analysis, essay must quote directly from the novel and refer directly to quotes/images/scenes from your example from popular culture
-quote the novel and your example from popular culture throughout your paper, analyze the significance of the quotes you choose in relation to your secondary sources
-quoting directly from the text, and write page numbers show your critical analysis of the novel and the popular culture example by presenting and developing a clear thesis argument throughout the paper
Outside Source Requirement:
-You are required to have at least 2 academic secondary sources (sociological and theoretical investigations of your topic) to support your argument
