For this week, you\’re going to be spending some time looking through the Eggcorn Database (https://eggcorns.lascribe.net/). I want you to go through, using the \’Browse\’ page of the database, and choose five eggcorns to tell us about that you think are goofy, fun, or interesting. For each one that you choose, I\’d like you to provide us with an example from the database. I\’d also like you to discuss any explanation that the entry in the database provides, especially noting if there\’s any disagreement for a given entry about whether or not it counts as an eggcorn (a lot of them are disputed). Do those things for each of the five that you choose. Finally, I\’d like you to take some time and think if there are any other eggcorns that you may have heard (or used) throughout your life (they can either be in the database, or not, either is fine).
