Assessment three: E-portfolio
You are required to produce a portfolio in the form of a report on your selected occupational area. Remember this is an academic portfolio so theoretical application will need to be included where appropriate.
Task 1:
Choose a job or occupation of interest to you – preferably one you wish to enter after graduation. Thoroughly and systematically investigate your chosen occupation. You need to follow the structure below in the same order and present your portfolio in a professional manner.
A) Provide a job description and person specification Entry requirements Research on industry or sector –
B) Conduct a self-analysis of your current knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA).
C) Provide a brief explanation of why you feel that your current KSA matches your chosen job or occupation and identify the relevant KSA you need to develop in the future to ensure you can perform effectively in your chosen career / business. (Brief explanation and table format).
D) Produce a personal development plan (PDP) outlining your career profile for the next 5 years to achieve your long-term career goals. (Brief explanation and table format)
E) Your interview script Please discuss what qualities and skills do you have to offer that will indicate you are suitable for a career in your chosen occupational area? Why the organization should hire you?
F) A CV and employment letter, appropriate for your chosen occupation or job.

Task 2:

A) A work-based learning log of 1000 words reflecting on your learning experiences from your work placement where you will demonstrate the knowledge, skills and experiences you have gained. Please see guidance and criteria on page 20. (Brief information and table format would be useful)

You must reference throughout your report and include a list of your references in the Harvard System format. You also need to have a brief introduction and a conclusion as well as a bibliography.
