Why do you think leadership is not supporting organizational goals?

Whenever employees place more value in their own promotion over that of the organization’s we may find some underlying problems. Here is my question. What is leaderships role in this situation. Everyone can’t be promoted, and I am sure everybody feels they deserve promotion. How does leadership rectify these differing points of view? Finally, why do you think leadership is not supporting organizational goals? 2. Open communication from supervisors is very important. It seems like such a no brainer which is why it blows minds when leaders do not foster this open relationship. Understanding people as individuals and knowing each one of them works or thinks in a different manner is key to success. It allows a leader to identify problems and address them in a swift manner. With this in mind, does it also allow for the human element in leaders to make decisions based on compassion and not by the rule books? If yes or no why? 3. In most organizations, empowerment of employees is both a bottom up and top down mentality. Are there ways that you can propose projects that identify and promote the recommendations that employees make? 4.
