What limits should an employer be allowed to place on employees’ freedom of expression at work?

What limits should an employer be allowed to place on employees’ freedom of expression at work? What about acts of expression that happen away from the workplace? Should employers be able to criticize employers in public?on the basis of an article of ethics of economy.
