What is the influence of airfoil thickness on aerodynamic characteristics?

Write an introduction about the project.The project intends to study the effect of changing different parameters of airfoil geometrical design on its aerodynamic characteristics. The angle of attack will be also varied and the effects on lift and drag will be characterized. In the introduction state the purpose and the major effects in studying the aerodynamics of airfoils.
