What are the limitations of fingerprint and vein biometric have?

I attached my work on this dissertation and please writing extra 5000 words of literature review to my works. My dissertation is about researching on what extent that the new biometric, Vein Biometric, perform better than Fingerprint Biometric. I believe the vein biometric can replace fingerprint in the future. As we know, fingerprint biometric widely spread in the world. Why could it widely spread but not other biometrics like retina, iris, face and voice recognition? Please only make the simple comparison of different factors and people acceptance on these biometric in order to explaining why I finally choose vein biometric as the future biometric.
