You are required to demonstrate your knowledge of the use of social media in recruitment and selection as part of this assignment.
You need every advantage you can get to obtain suitable employment. This will include letting potential employers know a little about you.
Your first step should be to create, if you do not already have one, a basic LinkedIn account.
If you don’t currently have a LinkedIn account, sign up for a *free* LinkedIn account at http://www.linkedin.com.
Once the account is created, you should complete your profile. Remember, in creating this profile, the type of job you wish to be contacted for. The education and experience listed should be written with that goal in mind.
Your next step is to add skills, knowledge and abilities. Again, these should relate to the job you wish to obtain.
