Order Description

1. This is an English bachelor program. (any topic that is going to be chosen must be about English native countries and/or English people)
2. It should be within any of these topics General Linguistics,Second Language Acquisition,Pragmatics,Discourse Analysis,Stylistics,Sociolinguistics,Ethnography of Speech,Language and Culture,World English,Research Methods (that doesn\’t require field projects)
3. It is a short research paper, so it shouldn\’t have broad research topics such as analysis of Sapir-Wrorf hypothesis.
I would recommend some simple discourse analysis or research into American/British dialects(being regional, or ethnic: African American, Asian American etc.), Maybe speech styles of different genders or Youtube stars etc. Either way, it must be in a form of question, \’What data are you looking at?\’ and \’What are you hoping to find?\’
