Click on code to go to tabular listing
Click on code in tabular once to see if there is expansion of code.
Double click on code to open 7th character box if needed (not needed on every code)
External Cause Codes (for ICD-10 only, for ICD-9 click on E-Code in coding choices)
Enter ex-cause (i.e. if patient had fall enter ex-fall, for car accident ex-accident auto)
Drug and Chemical table
Enter tabl drug (or substance) ( i.e. tabl Coumadin)
Click on code in column by poisonings, adverse effects and underdosings.
For Neoplasm Table
Enter –site (i.e. –lung)
Scroll for specific location at site if known, click on code in column by behavior.
