I will upload the paper that needs to be edited and will also upload files that help explain how to write a manuscript, all the information is there, but has to be moved around and adjusted/ things have to be added as well. The introduction needs to include the CHEST guidelines and how they state that they are against thrombolysis and then also mention the UK guidelines and AVF guidelines and how they state there should be thrombolysis. The discussion needs to include a paragraph or 2 about the CAVENT and ATTRACT trials and what they are about and how they relate to the paper. That means explaining what the trials were, and their exact recommendations, not just a general idea. Both trials have to be explained as to what was done, how they relate to the topic at hand, and must specifiy exactly/explain exactly which parts of CAVENT/ATTRACT discuss thrombolysis and thrombolectomy and give exact sections of each study where that was explained. There also needs to be a paragraph or more about catheter directed thrombolysis, its risks, benefits, average cost, average ICU stay, and how much it will end up costing in the end based of median hospital stay. Also need to find a research article describing general costs of the ICU and how much 1 day of being in the ICU costs in general for anyone staying there, which was done the first time, but using canadian data, there must be information citing AMERICAN data on all the same things on the ICU, not other countries but specifically the USA data on ICU costs for catheter directed thrombolysis, risks, benefits, average cost, average icu stay, and final cost based on median hospital stay. Plus an article explaining AMERICAN general costs of the ICU and how much 1 day of being in the ICU in general costs for someone staying in an AMERICAN hospital
Afterwards, discuss in further details the AVF and UK recommendations on thrombolysis and how it is beneficial, so on and so forth.
Rochester trial, TOPAS trial, STILE trial are the 3 major trials done that relate to this paper. They must be discussed how they relate to the paper in addition to the other papers. That means explaining what the trials were, and their exact recommendations, not just a general idea. All trials have to be explained as to what was done, how they relate to the topic at hand, and must specifiy exactly/explain exactly which parts of each trial discuss thrombolysis and thrombolectomy and give exact sections of each study where that was explained.
THE KEY WITH THE TRIALS IS TO ALWAYS SUMMARIZE THEM AND POINT OUT EXACTLY WHICH SECTIONS ARE DISCUSSING THROMBOLYSIS/THROMBECTOMY, AND THINGS OF THAT NATURE AND SPECIFY WHICH SECTION. FOR EXAMPLE. XYZ SECTION 2C.
I HAVE INCLUDED RESOURCES THAT I USED ALSO, USE THESE BUT ALSO USE ADDITIONAL ONES TO FIND THE INFORMATION I MENTIONED ABOVE SUCH AS THE ICU STUFF AND THE TRIALS. KEEP IN MIND THE ICU STUFF HAS TO BE AMERICAN DATA ONLY!
