the question: how have the use of private military effected the cost of the current wars?

I contracted with ITT, Dyncorp, and EODT as an armed security specialist. my salary ranged from 500.00 a day plus to 375.00 a day plus bonuses.
Contracting is good because it provided momentary financial gains but ultimately I lost myself in the mist of war. I became a floating soul who’s only charge was to die. I felt immune to death yet I longed to be buried.
When private security in Iraq and the former Yugoslavia, and money lost its value. the thrill of war meant everything. So, I joined the french foreign legion… when the legion wasn’t thrilling enough I left to the Israeli Army but I was too old so I didn’t make the cut.
Half the money I made I spent it in mental recovery which included drinking, traveling, women, partying etc… The other half thanks to my uncle was invested in rental properties in upstate New York.

Now my only desire is to live peaceful.
