How does successful business process design contribute to building the competitive advantage of the organization?
Operations strategy is a process or a method which is used to make decisions based on content and organizational specifics, such as capacity and demand to process improvement. This means that operations must provide goods and services which are better, cheaper and responsive to specific customer needs. These strategic concepts are then translated into distinct activities that, if accomplished efficiently and effectively, will provide a competitive advantage to the organization and process improvement.
To prepare for this Key Concept Exercise:
Read and view the Required Learning Resources for Week 2. Reflect on what you have read about the strategies connected with designing a business process, process types and design processes through process improvement.

Think about banking and healthcare sectors in terms of process design, such as aggregate planning and facilities layout, etc.
