Aim: Write a 3 to 4-page reflection paper on five key concepts that you learned in this class and the changes in your nutritional intake.
1. You are required to collect two 4-day profiles (totaling 8 days) of data entry using https://www.supertracker.usda.gov/Login.aspx (Login to my profile, I already have 4 days of tracker from the beginning of a quarter (Links to an external site). Keep one-4 day profile toward the beginning of the quarter and another later in the quarter. For each day, you will need to include a Nutrient Intake Report with highlighted nutrients, including calories, carbohydrates, fat, protein and three micronutrients of your choice for these days. Also, include physical activity for these days. You must submit ONE of these 4-day profiles to me in the form of Nutrient Intake Reports by Wed, May 10, 11:59 pm. This will be worth 10 points of your total grade.
2. For the final project, place each four days set into table format for each nutrient: Calories, carbohydrates, fat, protein and three micronutrients of your choice. Based on this data, choose five concepts learned in this class and analyze your diet in light of these concepts. Explain how your diet may have changed over the course of the quarter based on these concepts. Keep in mind, this is not a term paper, but rather a personal reflection of your nutritional intake status.
