In this lab you will discuss how the context of the website may influence the features of an “effective” or “usable” website for this organization. The website you’re analyzing can be defined as a rhetorical act or text. Anything outside of the boundaries of the text, which affect its creation or reception, constitutes its rhetorical context. In your analysis, which should only be one paragraph long, you should cite one online source that is not the target website. You will need to do Internet research to learn what you can about the organization’s context and the website’s context, not only relying on what they say about themselves and their context, but finding some relevant, independent “secondary source”.
