Order Description
For this exercise you need to consider the sourcing, production and logistical elements of your product proposal for your major project.
You are required to identify and justify 2 relevant sourcing options for your product.
You will then be required to develop a full costing sheet for both source options.
Costing sheets should include but are not restricted to – fabric, trims and findings, CMT, labeling, packaging, freight, taxes and tariffs, manufacturing margin, recommended retail price.
At the end of this exercise you will need to make recommendations regarding your findings. (ie are either of these options commercially viable, if so which one would you recommend using, if not what further work is needed or other options should be considered). Think about cost, quality and customer expectations.
