Instructions: Chapter 7 talks about the different stages of relationships. These stages are the initiating stage, exploratory stage, intensification stage, stable stage, declining stage, and termination stage. Pick a relationship that you have had in that past that ultimately led to the termination stage of the relationship. The relationship that you choose can be a family relationship, a friendship relationship, or a romantic relationship. Describe the different stages of the relationship of your choice and explain whether or not you were able to reach the reconciliation stage. If you do not have experience with this, or you would prefer to write about someone other than yourself, then you can watch the movie “500 Days of Summer” and focus on the relationship between Tom and Summer.
