OVERVIEW This project requires each of you to take responsibility for your own learning in a key topic, and share that learning with the class. My topic is Technology, and the company to research is Walmart.

You will select one of the topics listed here and then research the topic to complete the project requirements.

INSTRUCTIONS The format of the assignment should be as follows: Define or explain Technology. (1 to 2 paragraphs). Explain the relevance of Technology to employee development (2 to 3 paragraphs). Research one best practice example of how an organization was successful in managing the impact of Technology on employee development. Give a brief explanation of what Walmart does, the situation it was facing, what it did that is considered best practice, and explain the results of their efforts. Your best practice example must be related to employee development. (5 to 8 paragraphs) Summarize what you have learned about the topic. (2 to 4 paragraphs)
