Critical Literacy and Visual Literacy are important aspects in a classroom that will be addressed throughout the semester. Pre-service teachers will create an infomercial advertising one lesson about writing that could incorporate these two main ideas with primary school students. This infomercial needs to be between 2-4 minutes in length, and showcases the connection between theory and practice, strategies to include multi-cultural and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, plus ways to engage and motivate students learning and ways to assess the learning in this area.
