It has to be a compare and contrast essay for two stories. The stories are Sonny’s Blues by James Baldwin and The Lives of the Dead by Tim O’Brian. I have to choose one character from each story and compare and contrast them, how they’re similar and how they’re different. So I chose the unnamed narrator from Sonny’s Blues and Tim O’Brian from The Lives of the Dead. I also have to write how each character changes from the beginning of the story to the end of the story. I want the essay to be 6 paragraphs which would be 3 pages. One quote in each paragraph and post quote analysis for the quote.
