Please write a 4 page essay on the following topic, using only your own thoughts and ideas about the poem (no research). You will need a thesis statement in your introductory paragraph, a logical argument, and strong textual support for your position. Give specific examples and quotations wherever possible. Your essay should be typed, double-spaced, using 12 point font with 1 inch margins. Please include a Works Cited page in MLA format and a cover page with the title of your essay, your name, the date, and your course number.
Upload the first draft in two places: the Module 3 assignment drop box and the forum for peer editing. Peer edits are due Thurs. June 8, and the final draft is due on Sun. June 11 in the Module 4 drop box.

Describe and explain what you consider to be Beowulfs philosophy of life. How does he approach and handle situations? What are his strengths? Does he have any weaknesses? What does he believe about the world, and believe in? Closely examining Beowulfs speeches and descriptions of him by other characters and the speaker of the poem will help you glean as much information as possible.
