Note that this is primarily a legal exercise based on Financial Services Law and Regulation you are not expected or required to consider other business issues. You should answer the question or problem based on the current version of the Corporations Act (or other relevant legislation, where applicable) and on Australian law.

Students should use relevant legal principles, case law and legislation, together with their own analysis, to provide an answer to the question or problem provided. It is expected that students will present their written arguments in a clear, concise and logical manner and that conclusions will be reached.

Written submissions should be prepared as a short research essay, and adopt the ILAC method of answering legal problems where appropriate.
