The blog should include quotation and/or paraphrase to support your analysis thus you must document; include both internal and external documentation. Be very careful how you handle documentation of drama. You will also be documenting videos. Read the MLA Guidelines attentively.
Style is prescriptive in literary analysis. The blog is an opportunity to practice the stylistic language of analysis. Control for tense and point of view. Be sure to review the formality handout on the Writing Assignments page. Do not neglect to control grammar. Formal writing is just that: formal. Control for punctuation, spelling, your accuracy in sentence craft. You sacrifice blog points when you fail to control your posting.
Please DO NOT post Blogs as attachments. Please post directly in the text box.

For example, you might look at the graveyard scene in Oliviers Hamlet (1948) and Almereydas Hamlet (2000). You can look on YouTube, or you can rent variations of Hamlet from your favorite DVD rental company. What differences do you notice between the films and the original play? Why is it unwise to rely on film adaptations to understand the full meaning of Shakespeare’s work?
