Write three paragraphs about whether you think reasoning drives emotion or whether emotion drives reasoning.

In “The Emotional Construction of Morals” (pp. 63-66 in your Minch & Weigel text), Prinz suggests that one reason we think killing is worse than letting die is because killing arouses stronger negative emotions. But the reverse may be true; perhaps our emotional response is driven by our thinking. What do you think, and why? What impact might your answer have on your own moral judgments? Write three paragraphs. Paragraph one is about whether you think reasoning drives emotion or whether emotion drives reasoning. Paragraph two gives your reasons for thinking that your answer in paragraph one is true. Paragraph three explains how you think your answer in paragraph one might effect your own moral reasoning. Remember, if you use quotations please cite them.
