Develop your own flowchart/diagram/schematic that illustrates the meningeal layers and related spaces that cover the brain.
PART 1 – BRAIN COVERINGS AND DIVISIONS PURPOSE: Through self-directed learning, you will appreciate the coverings and housing of the brain within the cranium from an anatomical and functional perspective. PROCEDURES: 1. Using primal pictures, navigate to Brain – Meninges section. Set layer level to 9. (cranium). 2. Navigate each layer, from 9 through to cortical gray matter (layer 1). RESULTS: 1. Develop your own flowchart/diagram/schematic that illustrates the meningeal layers and related spaces that cover the brain. Provide a succinct narrative description of each, incorporating it into a “bubble” or side bar. Each narrative should be in your own words, and should not simply “regurgitate” the primal text. Use correct anatomical terminology, as well as precise anatomical terms of orientation (superficial, deep, lateral, medial, etc…).
