c. Discuss FOUR colonial legacies in West Africa. You should balance your analysis to reflect at least TWO PERSPECTIVES. Which of them had the most devastating effect on the region and its peoples? (Not more than 2 pages)

3 a. In FIVE specific examples, reflecting different perspectives, CRITICALLY evaluate the debate surrounding the motives for the abolition of the slave trade and the emancipation of the enslaved. (Not more than 2 pages)

b. Reflecting the two school of thought ( Afrocentric and Eurocentric). Discuss FIVE major effects of the transatlantic slave trade on the people of west Africa and their society. ( Not more than 2 pages)
