Introduction:

You will design and develop an evidenced-based quality improvement that demonstrates the synthesis of xxx graduate competencies. This project is not primary research but should be focused on scholarly evidence in support of practice improvements, innovation, or general practice change. It will not require an Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval. You will be required to conduct a comprehensive literature review that defines the evidence in support of your project. The literature review represents a collection of primary research studies that have already been conducted and that provide guidance for best practices. Once your project plan is complete, you will create a professional presentation that outlines your plan and then present it to your stakeholder group and preceptor.

Requirements:

F. Provide an evidence summary to support your proposed change.
1. Provide a reference list for your evidence summary in APA format that includes a minimum of five scholarly, peer-reviewed sources that were published within the last five years.

Note: This reference list refers specifically to your evidence summary only.

G. Explain your proposed implementation plan, which includes the following:
1. plan of action
2. timeline Timesline July / August 2017
3. needed resources and personnel
4. proposed change theory
5. barriers to implementation

Task 2: Introduction and Literature Review (Due when it\’s done. No later than end of August 2017) approx 9-10 pages

Introduction:

The Field Experience course represents a significant milestone toward completion of your MSN degree. This assessment will be the final task of the MSN Field Experience. For this assessment, you will create an introduction and literature review, which will make up the first two chapters of your written capstone document. Upon successful completion of this task, you will move to the capstone course, where you will fully implement and complete your capstone project. Chapters one and two of your capstone project will not be evaluated again in the capstone course but must be included in the final capstone document.

3. Summarize the scope of the project by doing the following:
a. Describe the practice change, quality improvement, or innovation.
b. Provide a rationale for the practice change, quality improvement, or innovation.

Chapter 2: Literature Review

B. Provide a thorough and well-organized literature review on your topic by doing the following:
1. Review a minimum of 30 credible sources that were published within the last five years.

Note: In order to prove that you have reviewed 30 credible sources, you will need to provide a list, in APA format, of the sources you reviewed for part B1.

2. Identify best practices for your topic based on the review of literature.
3. Provide an evidence summary of the literature relevant to the topic you have chosen.

C. Recommend quality improvement based on the findings of the literature review and evidence summary from parts A and B.

Task 3: Final Chapters of Capstone Report (Approx 20-25 pages)

Introduction:

In this task, you will create the remaining chapters of your final capstone written report. Chapters 1 and 2 were created and evaluated as part of your field experience. In this task, you will create chapters 3, 4, and 5, as well as an abstract for your entire report.

Your report should include the following items in the following order: the abstract you will write at the end of this task; a table of contents; chapters 1 and 2, which you wrote for task 2 of the field experience; and chapters 3, 4, and 5, which will be written as part of this task. Chapters 1 and 2 will not be reevaluated, but they will need to be submitted as part of the completed capstone report.

1. Explain how the successes of your project can help to inform future projects.

D. Discuss aspects of your project that did not go as well as anticipated.
1. Explain how understanding of what did not go well can help to inform future projects.

E. Explain how your capstone project bridged the gap between evidence and current practice.

Organizational Sustainability
F. Discuss the organizations plan to support the postimplementation of the capstone project, including plans for short- and long-term maintenance.

G. Discuss the resources needed for postimplementation support.

Chapter 5: Reflection

H. Discuss how you integrated two MSN program outcomes into your capstone project.

I. Submit your completed capstone report, including the abstract and chapters 15.

implementation process

Task 4:Multimedia Presentation (Apprx 15-20 slides)

Introduction:

In this task, you will produce and record a multimedia presentation of the information you provided in chapters 3, 4, and 5 of your capstone report. This recording should provide both video and audio and may be produced through a media platform of your choice. You should either upload your multimedia presentation file in Taskstream or provide a link to your presentation in the document you submit in Taskstream.

You should provide a professional presentation to your stakeholders of the final results of your project in an asynchronous manner. This task serves to validate the completion of your MSN capstone project.

Requirements:

Your submission must be your original work. 7. Describe two MSN program outcomes that were integrated into your capstone project.
